The Complaint Procedure

If you have concerns about the behaviour etc of a pharmaceutical company, see our complaints form.

The Code sets out detailed provisions to ensure pharmaceutical companies operate in a responsible, ethical and professional manner.

Complaints submitted under the Code of Practice are considered in the first instance by the Code of Practice Panel.
When the Panel makes a ruling, the parties are advised and brief details are published on the ongoing cases section of this website.  Both the complainant and the respondent may appeal to the Code of Practice Appeal Board against any rulings made by the Panel.  The Appeal Board is chaired by a legally qualified chairman and includes independent members from outside the industry.  The Appeal Board always sits with an independent majority.  Once finalised case reports are published on the completed cases section of this website.

The Constitution and Procedure for the PMCPA provides full details of the complaints procedure, here.
