Forthcoming 2021 ABPI Code of Practice

2021 ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry (This Code comes into operation on 1 July 2021)

The 2021 APBI Code was approved by ABPI members at a special General Meeting on Tuesday 12 January 2021. It will come into operation on 1 July 2021. Whilst the 2021 ABPI Code booklet is still to be finalised, the approved wording of the Code and other supporting documents have been made available for companies so that they can start to implement the new Code. These are available opposite:

• 2021 ABPI Code pdf (clean copy)
• 2021 ABPI Code pdf (with track changes since the consultation)
• PMCPA Guide to the Code
• Presentation slides including results of the consultation, a summary of the changes
• Optional template for disclosure
• Letter to companies from the ABPI and PMCPA

The next few months will see briefings and information being made available to help companies and stakeholders understand and implement the 2021 Code.
