New-style case report survey - the PMCPA’s response

Today we are publishing our response to the survey that we ran from 14 January to 6 February 2026, in which we sought views on three case reports that we had drafted in a new style. These cases were part of a pilot, aimed at improving the accessibility, clarity and readability of our rulings. The survey asked for feedback on our proposed new style and invited other suggestions for improvements to our case reports.

We would like to thank all those who took the time to provide their feedback. We have reviewed all the responses and the results of the survey, and our detailed response to the feedback received is in this blog. In short, our proposed changes received a strong majority of support. We also received several additional suggestions that we plan to incorporate as further improvements. We now intend to implement these changes across all our cases later this year.
