Code of Practice
What is the Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry?
The ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry aims to ensure that the promotion of medicines to health professionals and to administrative staff is carried out within a robust framework to support high quality patient care. The Code also sets standards relating to the provision of information to patients and the public and relationships with patient groups. All ABPI member companies are obliged to comply with the Code and about fifty non-member companies have voluntarily agreed to comply with it. Find out more here.
